Dance/Movement Classes

What to expect

Gentle creative dance, raising the heart rate and stretching the body whilst mostly seated. The classes are a fun way to aid mobility, improve co-ordination and confidence with the use of props such as small balls, beach balls, ribbons, dusters, scarves, large sheets of material and much more. A wonderful chance to encourage social interaction whilst singing along to some familiar music.

Class content and themes are planned to fit the participants and your organisation’s needs.

Classes offered

Dance/movement classes for hospitals, care homes or in a sheltered housing setting. This could be weekly, fortnightly, monthly sessions or just a one-off class.

Please get in touch to talk though prices depending on your needs.

How to book

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss booking some sessions and how they can work best for you.

If you are looking to join a class or want bespoke dance or Pilates sessions for your organisation then please get in touch

“Helen has been delivering weekly gentle movement sessions on our two older adult inpatient mental health wards since 2015.

Her sessions are joyful occasions which are particularly valued and appreciated by our service users and staff.

Helen’s skill and sensitivity as a practitioner, her caring compassionate nature and infectious sense of fun shine through. Clinical staff have fed back to me on numerous occasions that her sessions have lifted people’s mood for the rest of the day.”
